Baby Girl Fuller's Room Update

Besides a baby, there was something missing from Baby Girl Fuller's room . . . MAGIC! Thankfully wonderful friend Marie paid a visit and brought her magic wands (i.e. paint brushes). These pictures are a sneek preview of of her art. If you think these pictures are nice, wait until you see the finished masterpiece.

Kio's Belly at 35 weeks.

Baby Girl Fuller is REALLY popping out now, let me tell you. My belly button is a distant memory and my strech marks are getting stretch marks. We have 5 weeks to go. If you pray - pray for this baby to be healthy and for her to have a small head!

More Nursery!!!

The furniture has arrived! We have a crib and a dresser, or better yet, Baby Girl Fuller has a crib and a dresser. We also purchased a new light fixture for the room. Daddy Ryan did an excellent job at installing it! We might finish this nursery after all . . . Woo Hoo!

Baby Girl Fuller Is Loved

A Good Start, But . . .

Here is a picture of all the diapers we have received from friends and family so far. There are 900 diapers in that picture. Should last us for quite a while right? Wrong! On average a newborn will go through 8-10 diapers A DAY! So those 900 diapers will only last roughly 3 months. Here is another fun fact for you: the average child goes through 7500 diapers before she is potty trained. This is the one area that I pray Baby Girl Fuller is not above average.

Baby Room Update

Above are pictures of the Baby's Room after we finished painting and despite Daddy's "help" Abuelo managed to do a wonderful job installing the crown molding. The Baby's Room is the only room in the house with crown molding right now. She is not even born yet and she is already running the show! We also put in a dimmer switch to provide a soothing and safe amount of light for those night time feedings.

A Place to Lay Her Head

Raise your hand if you have ever heard this expression! Yeah? I see you. Good. That is everyone.

Well, you see I had heard this expression as well. SO CUTE. The baby is the bun. Heck I like bread. Oh, so cute.

What nobody bothered to tell me and what I failed to realize is that, for the baby to be the Bun . . . I WOULD HAVE TO BE THE OVEN.

For those of you who have no idea what I talking about - let me explain. I AM HOT. I am SO HOT. I think, sometimes, that I could heat a room.

No room is cold enough. No shower is cold enough. No ice can withstand my heat. I am so HOT.

Then, I don't know if you guys had noticed, but . . . it is hot outside. I wonder if this is my challenge? You know, if I make it to the end of this pregnancy in this heat - then I will make a great mommy?

Yes! That is it. I can do it. We are down to 50 days.
